Many, many thanks to Jonathan Knowles, our Grand Poobah, for invaluable assistance in maintaining the complex affairs of The Los Gatos Social Club in our absence. I have no idea how he came up with that photo of me, but what with cell phone cameras and all, it is more and more difficult to be lewd anonymously.

Return of our Chairman of the Board...Patrick O'Laughlin has returned. We hope to hear a detailed report of his adventures soon, which reportedly include battling fierce storms as his luxury cruise ship rounded the Straits of Magellan, fending off giant crocodiles and swarms of piranhas as he cruised up the Amazon and fighting off large numbers of scantily clad Brazilian beauties as he hit the beach at Ipanema. We hope to see you soon Patrick!!!

Teri Hope is busily planning a Big Easy, Cajun style special party and dinner at her home, Magnolia Manor, for all of us on Sunday afternoon, Mary 18th. Mark your calendars now...this is one you won't want to miss. And thanks in advance to Teri - she is a fabulous hostess!
QUESTION:
As you know, during the summer weeks that Jazz on the Plazz is occurring on Wednesday evenings, we shift our dinner to another night. Last year it was Tuesday. Because we have a significant number of members who are planning on hosting dinners at their homes this summer, there is some sentiment to make Thursdays our alternate evening this year. Please let me know if you have any thoughts on this.

PS: We have extended invitations to both the Clinton & Obama campaigns to have Hillary and Barack attend one of our dinners. Hillary's people called us back @3am and said she'd attend, but only if we hit the ground running with a fund raiser. Barack's people are insisting we change everything. Oh well.
